“its all love”

inhaling the silence
passing traffic like ocean waves
hands encircling
warm mugs and yellowed pages
eyes blinking away the dream state
exhaling one reality to the next
you followed into the morning
stepping between worlds and words
a specter that clings to curves
seeking critical reflection
hoping to pen words
that shift worlds
whose formation creates
disorienting rhythms
but “it’s all love”
love poetry,
like the stillness of air
whose ghost linger
where sunlight cannot touch
they whisper worlds
lessons from the ancients
ancestral love that
moves, flows, leads
leading the riddim of the heartbeat
